Good Exercise and Lots of Fun, No Partner Needed, Bring Soft-soled Shoes and your Smile
*Beginners with little or no dance experience do best if they begin early in a semester (September or January) because this type of dance requires progressive learning. We have an Open House in September each year to introduce Scottish Country Dancing; but if you are interested mid-semester, feel free to come and watch any time. If you are an experienced dancer (i.e. Contra, English, Ballet, Square Dance, etc.) you may be able to join mid-semester, so come and see. Everyone is welcome. For more detailed information about our classes see our beginners handoutor email us at contact@gsoscds.org.
We are a group of people with many different stories and careers. We come together because we love dancing, especially Scottish Country Dancing. We are associated with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, a worldwide organization based in Scotland, which supports our activities with teacher training, dance and music publications, and events.
We look forward to dancing with you.
