What is Scottish Country Dancing anyway?

Scottish Country Dancing is the classical ballroom dancing of Scotland.  It is a living art form, with people world-wide continuing to write new dances and create new music.  It is NOT Scottish Highland Dancing.  It is social dancing for men and women, related to square dancing, contra dancing, and other forms of dancing as a team.

We meet on Tuesdays at 7:30pm, September through June

We are a group of people with many different stories and careers.   We come together because we love dancing, especially Scottish Country Dancing. We are associated with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, a worldwide organization based in Scotland, which supports our activities with teacher training, dance and music publications, and events.
We look forward to dancing with you.
